Logan got a Build A Bear gift card when he was born…and we have had it since then. We always figured it would be more fun to use when he got a little older, and turns out we were right!
Grandma and Grandpa K came to see us on Saturday, and the plan was to go to the pumpkin playground. However, it has been NASTY here all weekend – cold, icky rain. So, no pumpkin playground. We went to our favorite spot in bad weather, the mall, and hit up Build a Bear. Of course, I had to document the adventure…
Logan very quickly picked the animal he wanted, a monkey (with no prompting from us!).
Then we stuffed it and fluffed it, and gave it a heart!
And he got a bath, which was Logan’s favorite part, by far!
And then he got dressed…in a Spider Man suit. Logan did not like the mask, thank you very much. So he just has some cute Spider Man clothes.
He got a birth certificate, and we named him George.
He was perhaps, most excited by George’s “house.” He had to carry it himself for a LONG time.
Then we ate lunch at Cheesecake Factory, and that was just YUM…
