We had a fabulous weekend celebrating Peter’s birthday! His birthday isn’t until later this week, but we had friends over on Saturday to celebrate and it was a fabulous time. Leave it to me to take ONE picture of the night. ONE. And it was of the kids there, not any of all the adults of course!
We had a wonderful time bringing together 3 couples we’ve known forever and two couples who are on our new street. So much fun! Peter said it was a good time, so I’m calling it a success! I will say that in bizarre news, Logan didn’t go to bed until 10:45. Seriously. The other kids that were there were up too, so it wasn’t just me! I am usually such a strict bedtime person, but the kids were behaving, have fun, and just generally happy, so we all went with it. Aubrey did go to bed at her regular 7:15!
Luckily we didn’t have too many meltdowns as a result of the late night last night! But, we were still in our pjs at lunch time…
And, that was just fine, because some days are meant to be like that! We did go out later and play outside, so we didn’t waste away the gorgeous weather outside.
This weekend Aubrey also managed to get Puffs in her mouth for the first time! She has been working hard on it and was quite proud of her success.
And, you know, just because I have to get pictures of the two of them together as much as possible, here’s one more!
Another stay home day tomorrow – yahoooooo!
