By the Numbers: Great Grandma’s House

• 3 – Hours it takes to get there
• 3 – Number of times we stopped for a dirty diaper (ahem…)
• 2 – Walks taken up her dirt road
• 27 – Overgrown squash in the neighbors garden
• 438 – Strange butterfly/grasshopper things that attacked me
• 1 – actual tick found on my body
• 9,421 – imaginary ticks felt after that
• 11 – hours straight slept by my child in a strange place
• 2 – hours straight slept by me due to fear of ticks
• 1 – amazing grandma who took the monitor from me (she picked a good night!)
• 7 – new bruises resulting from WAY too much fun
• 9 – baskets I made in basketball (playing against a toddler is great!)
• 8 – hours spent outside yesterday running around in all the SPACE at great grandma’s house!
• 1 – little boy who enjoys his independence way too much…
