Disney Day 2!

It is official, this place is the best! We had an absolutely amazing day. Ready for a quick recap?

When we started, no rain. By the time we got to Magic Kingdom it was 8:30 and it started raining. Ponchos to the rescue! We got there in time for "Rope Drop" and to see the Good Morning show! 

It was so cool! Then, off we went! We went to the Buzz Lighttyear ride first and it was a great first ride! 

So great in fact that we got off and got right back on. The beauty of getting to the park early - so worth it! This ride gets 60 minute waits later in the day.

Yep, we switched partners! 

After Buzz we went to Astroorbiter. By that time it was 9:20 or so and the sun was already out!

Up next, It's A Small World! Who doesn't just love this ride? 

Then we did a quick snack at Gaston's Tavern and we were off to the Little Mermaid Ride! 

We managed to escape from Ursula and then Logan and I went to...Space Mountain!!!

There we are waiting in the line (I loooove Fast Pass! 10 minute wait with a fast pas, compared to 100 minute wait without!).

He held on for dear life, but in the end proclaimed it to be awesome! 

After that we met back up with Peter and Aubrey (who had done the carousel and magic carpets) to have lunch at Conderella's Castle! It was a princess bonanza! 

They each come around to your table and talk to you, sign autographs, and take pictures. It was worth it for sure! 

After lunch we bought Mickey Ears (you'll see!) then headed back to the hotel. There was some brief down time (ahem, no nap of course) and then I took the kids to the pool. They both loved the water slide. And of course they found a hammock afterwards! 

We headed back to Magic Kingdom around 5, grabbed some dinner and then hit the rides again! We did the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse first...

Then we all ride the magic carpets. After that we went to the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. I was nervous because it's a roller coaster. Mild, but still a roller coaster. I was panicked about Peter's back and Aubrey's fear. Guess how that turned out? 

So.much.fun. 

After that people were starting to line up for the fireworks and parade and we decided it wasn't the right night for us to do it. Considering we wouldn't get back to the hotel until probably 11:30 or so after the parade I'm not sure we will do it this trip, but clearly we've got plenty to keep us busy! 

The kids were SO awesome today. Even at the very end when we were waiting for the bus, they did this unprompted. 

We start the day at Animal Kingdom tomorrow! We are ready to have more magical fun!
