And Aubrey read this book. It is pretend reading but it is so adorable. This is precisely how reading develops and why kids who come from homes without a lot of literacy happening come to school already so behind. Looking at pictures, pretending to point to words, knowing that print makes spoken word - that's early literacy. And it is so cool to watch in my own kids!
