I think Aubrey is claustrophobic. She does not share Logan's love of elevators or the Metro. She does however love the mini carousel!

Split Personalities
Mom and I took the kids to the mall today, with the metro being part of the fun. It was a good time, but they each had a few moments they weren't too sure about, mixed in with crazy fun.

Happy Sunday!
Short and quick today...Peter and I are just driving home from a wedding at Whitehall - the same place we were married! It was crazy to be back there.

Thankful on Thursday
Today I am thankful for quiet moments, when I get to see these fabulous things:
They are bouncy and run around like maniacs…but I love, love, love quiet moments (snuggly after baths!) when they are quiet and calm and fabulous.
Thankful.

Hold Me
Do you see what I see? Coats on the left = 2012. Or in Logan's case 2011 and 2012.
Coats on the right = 2013. Well, I have issues so they are 3-in-1s and they'll just wear the fleece in the car seat but I get the bigger parka part too because I dream of snow from November - April.
Those coats on the right arrived today. And they are clearly for some giant children who don't live here.
Logan's is a 5/6 in an attempt to get 2 years out of it (he still wears a 4T really). But it is wearable. I thought it would fall off of him.
Sigh. I love my giant children. But wow, that was fast.

I Think I May Have a Problem
I may be just a little obsessed.
How many different shades of pink can one child wear?
I mean really...hat, jacket, pants, shoes. Just, woah. I love pink, it was one of out wedding colors (bright pink). But oh, poor Aubrey!
But she still forgives me and turns on the cuteness!
Totally used a camera filter on my phone by mistake. But it doesn't filter out the cute, so all is good!
Parent conferences all day and night tomorrow...hope I make it out in one piece!

Four!
A bit late, but the stats from Logan's 4 year appointment:
Height: 42 inches (85th percentile)
Weight: 37.2 pounds (15th percentile)
He did a great job at the doctor. He was quite concerned about taking his pants off though. I had to giggle a little. He had FOUR shots and took them like a champ.
I could te you all about him, but I do that everyday! Here's Logan at 4, in his own words. We did a quick interview last week.
I know it's a little hard to see, but I'm sure you can figure it out. We don't eat a lot of cereal, so that's why he doesn't really have an answer for that one.
He is a sweet, snugly, smart little boy. He can pout very well too though! He needs reminders about sharing and his fine motor skills could use some work. But he is straight up awesome. I adore when he says , "not exactly" and "as well" and "I'm concerned." He is a crazy mix of Peter and I, it's a little unreal at times.
Happy end of your birthday week buddy! Onward to FIVE!

Date Night!
Tonight Peter and I got to go on a date night thanks to Grandma and Pa Pa F! It started out as needing to get new clothes, for both of us. Romantic huh?
But we had the best time! We braved the mall then had a delicious dinner at PF Changs. We were home by 7:45. Wild and crazy as usual!
Life gets so crazy and hectic. Sometimes it takes slowing down for a night to really appreciate each other. Love that guy!
