Thankful on Thursday

There really isn't anything to say here except thank you to all of you. Thank you for checking on us, for encouraging us, for supporting us. 

A special thank you to my parents for their help with the kids. It has allowed me to focus on Peter and when I know the kids are with them I don't worry at all. It's a special feeling. 

Surgery tomorrow morning at 7am. We've got this!!! Adulting Zs, reporting for duty! 

But, glad there's back up when we need it. ;)

Adulting

Yep, we totally adulted today. We were awesome. I mean, Peter did the hard part. But I've never been on this side - waiting is HARD! 

Pre-op...

8 long hours after we arrived at the hospital I finally saw him again! I was the only one in be waiting room, I seriously thought they had forgotten me! But yay! 

And a special message to his mama...

He is very, very out of it. Pain seems manageable at the moment. We will see what tomorrow brings!

We cannot than you all enough for your support! ❤️💚💙

Lights!

I love traditions. Love them! We've got our decorating the Saturday after Christmas and buying new ornaments. We've got crafting with our buddies. And we've got my parents taking the kids to the Festival of Lights. I think they've gone 3 years now - and it keeps getting cuter! This year everyone got in on the rides. 

My parents and I have made it through a lot. And I love this other side where we get to enjoy each other. They make my heart smile - and not just because of what they do for my kids, but because of what they've been through with me and the fact they stuck with me. We are a fun bunch people!

It makes my heart happy. I also quite enjoyed a date night with my fabulous husband! So thankful for my parents helping with the kiddos tomorrow and tomorrow night as we have all of our fun at the hospital! 

Surgery is tomorrow at 3:30. I get to stay overnight with him! Like he's having a baby! ;) I'll keep you posted. We've got this!!!

Craftin It Up!

I love a good tradition! And this one is one of my favorites. Holiday craft time! Kiddos get too many presents - so instead of presents we all spend time together making a craft! 

Much debate on the craft and finding a time this year! But we pulled it off and it was fabulous!

But look how pretty! 

When oh when will we learn to take pictures first? The big kids tried...

Then the little guy came swooping in! He was very ready for a nap after a long holiday weekend and we tired him out with all the fun! But luckily dad helped him make an appearance. 

Love these ladies. And their kiddos. And their husbands. So, so lucky!!!

Now we better start scouring Pinterest for next years craft and put a date on the calendar!

Too Much Fun

You guys, there was just too much fun for me to write about at 11:30pm (I blame Christmas cards and lists). There will be more blogs coming your way, I promise! 

I'll just leave you this for now - wild date night for us at Target! We live it up here people! 

But, ya know - love this guy! Fingers crossed we hear about surgery very, very soon!

Thankful on Thursday

- Insurance approval! Finally!!!

- My dad making copies and stuffing folders for me and Logan's teacher too!

- Date night tomorrow night!

- Friends a lot this weekend!

- Christmas. I love Christmas!
